• Quality Solid-Wood Violin – Featuring ebony fittings and quality strings, including D'Addario Prelude or Thomastik-Infeld, depending on the instrument.

• Lightweight Violin Case – Convenient for school, lessons, and everyday transportation.

• Quality Violin Bow – Wood or carbon fiber, depending on the rental outfit.

• Professional In-House Setup – Every violin is carefully inspected and adjusted by our experienced luthiers.

Professionally Set Up and Ready to Play

A properly set up violin can make a meaningful difference in a student's learning experience.

Our experienced luthiers carefully inspect and adjust each rental violin, paying attention to string height, bridge placement, tuning pegs, and overall playability.

We want students to begin their musical journey with an instrument that is comfortable, responsive, and ready to play.

Every rental violin receives professional attention before it leaves our workshop.

Simple, Affordable Rental Rates

First 4 Months – $20 TOTAL

Your initial $20 payment covers the entire first four months of violin rental. This is an introductory rental payment, not a down payment or refundable deposit.

Starting Month 5 – $26/Month

Your regular monthly payment includes both the instrument rental fee ($16) and Maintenance & Damage Protection ($10) .

No additional monthly protection plan fee.

Automatic monthly billing begins in Month 5, based on the calendar day of your original payment. If that date does not occur in a particular month, billing takes place on the last day of that month.

Rent-to-Own Program

Our Rent-to-Own program gives your family an opportunity to build purchase credit toward a qualifying new violin.

90% of eligible instrument rental fees may be applied toward a qualifying instrument purchase.

Purchase credit begins with regular monthly payments starting in Month 5 and may accumulate for up to 36 qualifying monthly payments.

The introductory four-month payment does not earn purchase credit. Maintenance & Damage Protection fees, taxes, and other non-rental charges are excluded from credit calculations.

Purchase credit is subject to the Rental Agreement, including purchase eligibility, redemption deadlines, and other program terms.

Maintenance & Damage Protection Included

We understand that accidents can happen, especially when students are learning.

Your rental includes routine maintenance and qualifying accidental damage protection at no additional monthly plan charge.

• First Covered Accidental Damage Incident: 100% of covered repair or replacement costs are paid by Wexford Violin Shop.

• Subsequent Covered Accidental Damage Incidents: The renter is responsible for 50% of covered repair or replacement costs.

• Routine Maintenance: Qualifying adjustments and repairs are included for rental accounts in good standing.

Loss, theft, intentional damage, and string replacement are not covered. Please refer to the Rental Agreement for complete coverage details.

Step 2 – Complete Your Rental Online

Add your selection to the shopping cart and complete your payment through our secure online checkout.

Enter your student's name and school in the designated checkout fields.

Step 3 – We Professionally Prepare Your Violin

Our luthiers carefully inspect and adjust your rental instrument before delivery.

Step 4 – Pick Up or Enjoy FREE School Delivery

Pick up your rental from our shop or enjoy free delivery to participating local schools.

No additional phone call is required for standard school delivery.

Free Violin Size Exchanges

As your child grows, you may exchange your rental violin for another available size at no additional size-exchange charge.

Each replacement instrument is professionally inspected and set up before it is provided to your student.

Returning Your Rental

You may return your rental violin at any time.

Please return the violin, bow, case, and all other rented equipment to Wexford Violin Shop.

We recommend returning your instrument at least four days before your next billing date to avoid an additional monthly charge.

The initial four-month payment is nonrefundable. Rental payments are made in advance and are not prorated. Billing continues until the rented equipment has been received by our shop.
